Same here...no tape at all, I could just open it and pull the steels out! But inside, it is sealed, and tightly packed, so pretty ok. But what a beauty this steel is!

Who knows, is it really limited to 1000? Or do they break it down, a few hundred here and there? Or they just wanna make more money? Defeats the object of what 'limited' is and screws collectors who bought it expensive from third parties.
