I ordered this and V for Vendetta from yesasia and tried to cancel them but got told I wasn't able to, I know I should of read the information better but Iv'e never heard of not being able to cancel a pre order that's ridiculous, does anyone know why this is???

That's probably due to the fact that more and more customers (especially HDN fellow members including myself) cancelling their preorders after the big Skyfall (JP) fiasco, they must have a huge number of cancellations making them panic and put a new condition in place for preorders (and maybe in particular ones from JP), sucks if that's the case...

YA's policy with Japanese steels makes it sounds as if they have to order each one in every time someone makes an order, meaning they don't actually have them in stock themselves.

Which is what happened with the Skyfall fiasco when they weren't able to obtain any stock.

Can you change your credit card to a made up number or wrong expiry date? I done that with another company to stop a pre-order going through when I couldn't cancel. That way they will cancel it for you if they can't charge. This could only work if you don't have any other pre-orders going through at the same time or they will get cancelled as well.

Contact your Credit card company and tell them to deny payment from this vendor. That should do the trick, as they won't ship without payment.

Yep i got the same message when i tried to cancel, its completely crazy that you can't cancel an order and also it means i won't be making any other purchases from them !

Just looking at my account and it gives the option of removing credit card details, would this mean they wouldn't be able to take payment or would it still be on file for that order ?

yeah same here, I don't like the way they run things over there, I was able to cancel the lion king steelbook which they were waiting on coming back in stock, I'm not too sure about removing credit card details if that would mean they couldn't take payment, maybe someone else can confirm that.

There won't be any, bud. I think they send it through a hub in Germany, so customs charges don't get levied on their customers. And if they somehow do hit, YA will refund you the full amount paid in customs charges.
