This will be my first order from YesAsia. Can't miss out on this one. The artwork is the same as the 25th Anniversary Edition, which features some of the best artwork I've seen. :oohyeah:

There's a retail thread discussing the pros and cons of them here: https://www.hidefninja.com/community/threads/22144/

I've yet to receive a package myself (and somebody feel free to correct me here), but apparently if you're ordering a single steelbook it's best to pay the extra 300 yen for the gift wrap option as they'll pack it in a box instead of an envelope. This apparently isn't needed if you're ordering multiple steels, however, as they'll pack them into a box if you get two or more items.

The downside is that according to a few members the boxes themselves are still pretty flimsy and can get crushed if other packages are placed atop of them during transit. Still a better option than the envelope, but worth taking into consideration.

I've ordered this from amazon Japan..... Anyone used them before/know what their steelbook packaging is like etc?

I tried ordering transformers from amazon.jp and it kept saying it doesn't ship to uk and to pick a store to get it shipped to

Do they ship to uk.

That may well be a marketplace seller on amazon as apposed to amazon Japan themselves. If you order direct from amazon Japan they will ship to the UK albeit at a high price.

They do ship to the UK ! The item you are trying to buy must be from a third party seller and you need a Japan address to order from them.

It's a real crap shoot. If you're ordering one thing it usually comes in a unprotected envelope that if you're lucky is thin cardboard. With Amazon Jp you have the best chance of receiving things protected or in box if you order more than one. On the other hand, delivery is lightning fast (4 days at the most) and somehow none of my items, even if it was one Steelbook, has ever arrived damaged. The fear of opening a package of a single item can be stressful though. :ohno:

Amazon.jp usually limit you to one per copy.. (Dredd being the exception)

Great steels buddy, plus the quality of Japan steels is always the best..
