The release date for these is now April 1st, though no dealer price has been set yet, which is keeping the order links from going up for now.

Meanwhile it seems as though the individual movies from the LOTR trilogy are also being released as steelbooks at the same time. Artwork and details appear provisional, but it looks like the Korean versions might be the same as the German ones.

Where did you see the individual LOTR steels?!?

Ok, prices have now been confirmed on both of the releases in the OP (48400 KRW and 39600 KRW for 3D lenticular and 2D respectively) so I would expect the order links to go live this week.

The list price on the 3D version will probably be about $6-7 more than Life of Pi 3D.

Rob, thanks for the info. Is the 4 disc version the one with Gandalf on the front? There seems to be 3 more artwork on the thread.

Wow, 4 different coverarts with Korean slips. I see myself ordering 2 of the 4 but not all of them. The obvious concern here is getting an order in before it goes OOS!

Yes, I'm sure they'll be up at KimchiDVD and K2DVD. I think movie4989 might only ship to Korea, the site really isn't set up to cater for international buyers. The info and listings are handy though

Just 2 steelbooks right now and they're both working at the moment!!!

UPDATE: Both version's just went OOS...Damn...got my order in for both..that was fast!!

Thanks for the heads up Alex. Hopefully they do restock and I can try and get a 3D version. For some reason it was still showing as Coming Soon, and then all of a sudden it was Sold Out. I was able to grab the 2D version, but I'm hoping for a 3D as well.
