I don't think I am a fan anymore - I'll still get it, but the box (if that's what comes through) just ruins what would have been a great slip IMO. Another disappointment after the Life of Pi TW release.

Hopefully the contents of the box will match what came with LoP.

I wonder the same but I hope the slipbox isn't going to become the new 'thing' for TWN releases from now.

Hmmmn. Not sure what to make of this.

Not a big fan of these boxes. I do however like the way that the cover art is continued on the box. Wonder if this will get advertising plastered all over it like Life Of Pi?

Haven't ordered this as yet and may get a chance to see actual pictures given how many are still left in stock.

This looks like this is going to happen for all 3D lenticulars from now on sadly from Taiwan.

I'm pretty sure The Hobbit [Korea] will have a normal slip just like LOP. I'm still debating whether to cancel my Taiwan order though. In a way it looks good but than part of me says it doesn't. I'm probably thinking more of saving cash than spending it right now.

So it looks like Taiwan is going for the box on these lenticulars. Korea gets the slipcover. Korea wins!!!

Its not all bad though. Nothing wrong with the Taiwan package.

This looks a big improvement on Life of Pi given that it appears as though they're continuing the steel art onto the box.

I would consider this deluxe packaging from Taiwan and it resembles a very high quality set to my eyes, however for those unsure you should be able to cancel and wait for pics of this first, given that these don't seem to be selling out quickly anymore.

Is this supposed to come with some type of gift like Life of Pi? I don't remember reading that. Plus, the steelbook will probably be unsealed in the box. Think I'm going to cancel because I already have so many versions of this on order.

Where does it say this is a lenticular cover? All the other Asian 4-disc steelbook versions are not lenticular.
