I don't think this is going to happen. They are going to do the pre-sale for this beginning this Sunday and nowhere on the ad it says it will be in a steelbook form. I hope I'm wrong and we will be surprised but it doesn't look good.

yes, but they advertised the steelbook. unfortunately looking at that add scan, seems like this isnt a steelbook. I was hoping it would be.

If what they say is right, then the amazon uk steelbook will have a lenticular bilbo gollum cover... SWEET.

I don't think the UK steelbook will be lenticular.

The standard edition has the lenticular bilbo/Gollum front so it will probably be the same as this edition

Yeah what the hell? We have the LOTR trilogy on steel at best buy but nooo they couldn't give us the hobbit that would be ridiculous.
