It's not Royal Mail, it's the fact that TNT handle HMV's shipments which causes unnecessary delays.

dont know where they switch hands then as my post lady always hands mine to me when im home.
HDNL have delivered an item or two from them also which have funnily enough arrived late. and when you call them for re-delivery they really dont give a S*%t

I ordered mine yesterday. I dont open up my steelbooks to look at the inside anyway so this one is the one to get IMO. I display my steelbooks for the outside art.

Okay, I've just got home... And still nothing from HMV! I'm fuming... Anyone in the same boat?

I received my copy of The Hunger Games but I'm still waiting for my copy of Rumble Fish which was dispatched before this, i'm equally annoyed about that one.

Received mine today.

1 day late and in terrible terrible packaging.

I'm gonna send an email complaint.. Anyone else wanna do it? If enough do we may make them improve their service!

From HMV

Good morning Dino. First of all apologies for the slow arrival of your product. We are looking into this as it has occurred to a few customers regarding this particular title. So far it does seem to be a post issue as we managed to dispatch the bulk of order between Wednesday and Thursday. We of course don't wish to neglect responsibility. Our main focus is always to the benefit of the customer. We hope you remain patient and receive your pre-orders soon. The last thing we want is for your loyalty to us to be at risk. In regards to the artwork within the Steelbooks, it's certainly a good idea to get images up to show customers what they're buying and I'll pass it on. We did take some pictures of the Hunger Games Steelbook prior to it's release last week, however we didn't snap the inside, apologies. This may be something we continue on in the future, however, we don't always receive the artwork/product early enough to do so. Thanks for you feedback as it's always appreciated and if there's anything please let us know.

Wait, I had posted about HMV's horrible packing on another thread a few weeks back and someone replied with a very sarcastic comment, pretty much telling me I was out of my mind. So HMV is still doing this?

I guess they haven't really improved since the last time I ordered from them. geez..

I was pretty disappointed with the film to be honest... I think the hype got my hopes too high. It was average at best IMO. Might give it a second watch at some point though, just to make sure I'm not being too harsh. :p

Haha that's why you shouldn't believe in hype when it comes to movies lol, I enjoyed it, the 1st half was a bit slow but after that it picked up, now I'm looking forward to the next 2 movies.

'Hype' is common in anything to make more money. Best thing to do is go in and think the film is crap so when it is better than you thought you come out smiling :)
