Wow, this was a day 1 pickup for me but now, after learning of G1 and DVD extras I don't know anymore. I don't see how they messed this release up so bad when the first Hunger Games was flawless. To top it all off, they restocked the original for only $13, are you kidding me?

Still looks like one of the nicest releases for this movie, imo. Granted G2/Blu ray bonus would have made this more awesome, but it still stands out as the most unique version of HG:Catching Fire to me, loving the artwork/design better than the other releases. The others don't have a dvd copy or bonus. I think more than just collectors will be buying Catching Fire tomorrow so I'm happy I'm in Andy's GB. :) Target better come through & deliver those F*@&ing fabric posters tho!

I agree, after watching the video review posted above, I definitely think it looks pretty great, despite the G1 size.

I'll give Target credit for having BR+DVD+UV copy as well as bonus features, so it's quite loaded, but G2 and having the bonus disc a DVD is puzzling. US retailers need to learn from Korean Blu-ray distributors (Kimchi and Plain Archive). Same goes for Bestbuy who should have included bonus features for HG as well as a DVD (to a lesser extent) with the steelbook. Republic of Cutting Corners legion... smh!!

By the way, CF is $22.99 on target.com

fyi, received this from guest services, after I inquired about incompleteness of shipment (no order as advertised for pre-orders).

Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

We are working on getting you the poster and it will be sent to you in a separate shipment.

We are sorry for the delay, but thanks for your patience as we work on this.

We're always working to make Target.com an even better place to shop, and your feedback is a big help. Thanks for getting in touch.

anyone with an opern target version, does it have the $8 fandango Divergent offer or is that only the BBY versions?

I caved in and still ordered it after seeing pics and because of the special features/art work. What can I say, I am a sucker for Jennifer Lawrence.

oh btw. Incase any Canadians were wondering... went by my local target. no sign of this anywhere. Doesn't look like Target Canada got this.

USA, you win this round! haha

I'm in a bullcrap mood, yesterday my order shipped from target.com and the tracking number never seemed to work, so I called later that night and was reassured that it would be here on the 7th, so this morning the tracking number was still not working...

Ok so I think, let me call UPS, they told me they never had the package and they never even got the billing info from Target, so I was like WTF, so I called target, long story and phone call short, it says the 7th as delivery date but they couldn't seem to located the package, it says shipped on their system but they have no idea where it is... the only thing that they could do was ask me to wait 10days and refund my shipping cost...

It bugs me cause the only reason I ordered on target.com was the free poster, if I had known it was going to take up to an extra 10days I would have said screw it and got it at the store today. Plus the poster was not even gonna get here today...

As for the poster they said if you preorder it they will send you an email when it ships on the 8th of March(that's what they were told to tell people when they call) and that it has an eta of March 18th. Also the reason they didn't ship with the poster is cause the distributor didn't give them the posters in time to ship with the movie. It should do this automatically if you preordered.

Anyways I'm bummed... The thing is since no one knows where it is I have no idea if or when it will come, and they can't issue me a full refund cause it's "shipped". :(

I grabbed one of these off the shelf from Target and was hoping that it was at least close to the same size as the awesome Hunger Games digipack. Unfortunately I was disappointed. It is much bigger. Who makes these stupid decisions? Obviously it's people who don't care. It's incredible to me that they would make a mistake like that with such a huge blockbuster franchise. The digi for the first movie is one of the best ever, but I just might switch to the BB steels.

I wish people who knew what they were doing were the ones in charge of these type of details for us collectors.
