Scotty-there are many members who add their own inside or other art, or create 'hybrid' editions between collector's editions, Steelbooks,etc. The opinions on all of this are as gray and varied as the collector's preferences themselves. Since they're your items, I am not sure there are any limits or restrictions, but that's up to each movie fan to figure out

I have no problem with switching inside artwork to what you like best.
It's MY steelbook so I don't give a crap what others would devalue it to :movie:
On my FS Inglourious Basterds I tossed the digital copy and put in the 1978 Inglourious Bastards , now it's a one and only. (kept the dog tags)

I bought a lot of them for GB and I can assure you that 90% of them are chipped. The 100% mint are REALLY rare.

You have to have a keen eye to spot them though. Mine have a couple along the edge. Y the spine

Watched this for the first time on Sat night, thought it was excellent, I was expecting a bit of a teen film but to be honest I really enjoyed it, went in search of the steel and ordered the HMV version, then I saw this one!! As I'm new to posting I'm stuck with ebay for now so really trying to decide if to double dip. Is this steel that good? looks it......

If you look for a steelbook to collect for value/rarity I believe this to be a good pick!

Have you examined each one closely? I thought I had a few mint ones also, but after looking at closely in the light, I noticed slight imperfections with the paint.....

The one I opened for my own collection had a few little imperfections I could see before opening. I have two others , one has the same flaws , but the other one without opening it looks perfect
