Could had been a bit more of a deeper red I guess :( Apart from that though, looks very nice :)

Had mine today and the corners look scuffedView attachment 160768
It's called paint stretching, and it's getting worse recently, It only started to show up when Scanavo began to re-gloss there steels after their machine stopped working at the beginning of last year. It's sometimes hit and miss to how bad it is, but tends to look worse on dark/black steelbooks.

My Crow steelbook has some of the worst scuff marks yet, and that is going back...

Also got this today and it is nice but I also agree that it looks really washed out. Mine also has a spine slash

Received mine today. It has a paint chip on the front :(.

I've noticed the corner issue on quite a few of my Zavvi Disney/Pixar steels. I may be wrong but I believe it was Alice In Wonderland that I first noticed it on. I remember returning a steelbook twice for the issue only for both replacements to have the same problem so I've just lived with it since then.

As much as I'm greatful for such a great collection of Disney/Pixar titles on steelbook, I've found myself just accepting flaws because it's just too much hassle to find prefect copies, if they exist. I agree with others that it's seems to be during manufacturing that the problems are occurring, but Zavvi is the retailer and really they should be ensuring that the products they are selling are faultless.

There were 2 scrapes on mine, one was visible on the front (across Mr Incredible's red costume), the other was covered by the J-card (near Edna Mode's feet).

I've requested a replacement as the damage is more than I will accept. I don't worry about scuffs on the corners or very fine spine slashes as (although ideally steelbooks will always be mint) I accept they're mass produced boxes to hold Blu-ray discs. I appreciate though that for some, mint should be mint, and it is afterall your hard earned money you're spending.

Mine just turned up in this:

Incredibly, the steelbook was mint. Postman looked totally nonplussed as he handed it to me despite my look of horror as he did so.

The box mine came in was knackered (not close to this) but again it survived completely. I must surely be due a really badly messed up steelbook soon (I've only got 1 in 150 or whatever with a spine slash :ohno:)

That's rubbish as my copy of Sleeping Beauty arrived yesterday has points included. It is only this wave that seems to be avoiding points.

I think Disney are really cutting back this scheme especially as points now expiry after 6 months !!
