I agree. Something doesn't seem quite right. All versions still available. Maybe it's a combination of price, uninspired steelbook, people just cutting back and being more particular, 4K, more people streaming and not collecting, etc. etc. etc. I'm starting to cut back on buying these expensive sets myself. Who can say what the future of limited sets like these will be. They may stay collectible in the coming years or just become expensive paper weights. Maybe some who buy these don't care about the future value of them. But I do. If all I wanted was to buy a movie I like, there are much cheaper ways to do it than to buy these expensive sets.

Yes and no. I've bought quite a few right from Novamedia, Kimchidvd, HDzeta, etc. And also quite a few from eBay after the release. I have gotten a few for less than the original release or about the same price on eBay, but paid more for others. Really depends on the title, who released it, and other specifics. Look at this release. Low run, great movie, and still available. Apparently poor orphans no one wants. Will these be showing up on eBay for less? We'll see.

They mark all packages as merchandise ($20) by default. If you want them to write something else on it, you have to send them an e-mail.
That's what they told me on request.

Don't get me wrong, I don't consider the WWA steel as awful as most do, too. The backside looks pretty cool in live images. The front does lose quite a lot due to the massive cropping, though. And let's not even start talking about the spine.

I think Nova choice is getting bogged down with too many Marvel, Disney and DC titles... That itself isn't a problem but when Manta, Kimchi and Blufans are also releasing most of these titles as well, some with WEA then people are just weighing up the options.

Id love it if they went out of the box and did some more movie releases like Jurassic world and Edge of Tomorrow, everyone is pretty much guessing the pattern for Nova choice, Alice.. Civil War.. Jungle book.. Give us something we're not expecting and better still, something all the other companies aren't releasing

I miss the Focus on their Nova Exclusive Line; Drive, Begin Again, Lone Survivor, John Wick, Nightcrawler...

I don't know if they did any exclusive this year, maybe T2 and Dredd if I am correct, not sure but they were not exciting titles and easy to get lost as other retailers also doing these titles.

Well yeah, I'd like more from the exclusive line too. Aniv has alluded that Nova will be back on form next year so that's promising.

Can't say I'm too thrilled about a nova exclusive Avengers age of ultron though, I'm sure it will turn out awesome but feel like given the fact it's in the choice line it's a missed opportunity to bring out something from the MCU which doesn't have a premium edition or a completely original title. I still think The Warriors would be great if an Asian company did it, I was saying this before the Zavvi version was announced and I just feel it is just a no thrills effort

I love the exclusives too but its boring when 3000 are made and they sit online. I prefer the exclusivity of nova choice. I understand if theyre producing a new steelbook they need to buy in bulk but it makes the game a lot more interesting if it's a struggle to get a hold of a copy

From the first 6 or 7 Exclusive, The only one that sat not sold out is ''Nightcrawler'', why ? I have No Idea as it is a SUPERB Release, the steel is absolute Perfection, the treatment on it is awesome. Plus it will end up selling out at one point and from then it's when people will start looking for it.

I don't see it as Boring at all though, I'm happy that I have this Gem in my Collection, Fantastic movie with a fantastic WEA Treatment.

A lot of them sat for a longer, some for a very long time though or had numerous restocks. I understand that entirely, I would just prefer a lil' bit more struggle

It'll have to be real, they're individually numbered. With the one-clicks theres 1600 overall though. So more than 300 people have probably checked out, just with different options. People just aren't buying this release like they have others.

I've re-thought my stance on steels over the weekend. I think this is going to be the last time I order a choice/collection/global edition. I know some have mentioned it about the weak £, but £50 for WWA is steep, I used to think £40 was expensive but I've acclimatised to that. Saying that, if a top notch Dr. Strange comes out I'll probably rethink again

True. I would say BH6 is an exception as the WWA Steelbook was quite nice with title and proper embossing. Sadly except Gotg the rest have plummeted in value. This includes BVS and Jurassic World as well which sold for under cost yesterday and over the weekend. Such a shame as now when something superior is released, we won't get our hard money back with these. I know some will say value is not important but it is considering the sheer amount of releases these days.
