Received Jungle Book today but with a horrid spine slash , looks like someone got the exacto and went straight in

I got a spine slash once from Zavvi on my X-Men Origin: Wolverine but I kept it, because for some reason on their it felt right... See did you get what I did there? Yeah, but in all seriousness that looks terrible.

Since it does not appear any copies have made it yet to the States, there is no way of really knowing whether the denoted region coding is accurate.

I surprisingly got mine today and all seems ok although it's still in the shrink wrap (I'll definitely be opening it!). I have to say that the colours don't 'pop' as much as I thought/hoped they would.

Mine arrived here in Plymouth , have to say its in mint condition. My only beef is 'Diamond Edition' but it is only one disc surely diamond edition should be the definitive collectors numero uno best of...or am i being picky lol

This is stunning, imo-I am sorry I am in the US and this can't get here faster. I am sure, Zavvi, like other retailers who have had trouble with spine slashes are getting a plethora of customer service complaints about this. I will share some of this feedback, and hopefully there are ways that this can be prevented in the future. Always said when this happens, especially when items are limited, and or/getting exported/imported by excited fans.

Just opened mine. Have to say i love the matt effect every so often on embossed steels. Reminds me of the finish on Play.com Terminator. Premium feel and nice variation to gloss.

Naturally the back looks as spotty and imperfect as a teenagers face. Bloody paint chips!

Disc is locked to region 'B' and 'C'...I tested it on a region 'A' US Sony BDP-S370. The usual region error warning message pops up on screen.

Hi guys, if you could like to share actual pictures of spine slashes on Steels that you have received from Zavvi, and can provide some specifics, please do so here. We'd like to be able to provide more details to them, to help them hopefully track down where exactly's it's happening. We're seeing this as a positive step towards addressing some community concerns, and hope you will, as well. Thanks in advance for your feedback here.
