Terminator was matte (like all other Fox steels are). I don't have this in hand yet but the pics make it look similar to the finish Nemo got. Not full gloss like Aladdin but still a shine (not sure what it's called, could be Zero finish?).

the disneys(at least i ve never had any non glossy disney steel)

I surprisingly got mine today and all seems ok although it's still in the shrink wrap (I'll definitely be opening it!). I have to say that the colours don't 'pop' as much as I thought/hoped they would.

Slightly surprised it isn't as vibrant a green as the pics showed but still a beautiful steelbook. Mine is perfect condition. And as for the picture quality on blu-ray - WOW!

Hi guys, if you could like to share actual pictures of spine slashes on Steels that you have received from Zavvi, and can provide some specifics, please do so here. We'd like to be able to provide more details to them, to help them hopefully track down where exactly's it's happening. We're seeing this as a positive step towards addressing some community concerns, and hope you will, as well. Thanks in advance for your feedback here.

My copy is slashed through the shrink wrap, so almost certainly done by Zavvi when received in their warehouse

i was saying that:
terminator isn't glossy
finding nemo could be the same type(as the jungle book) but taht what's certain for me is that this one(jungle book) is not matte

i also gave some glossy steels

I think the reason this was region locked was because the US diamond edition of this movie is not due out until February of next year.
