Got mine this morning. Thankfully no spine slash or dents but it has a large paint chip right in the middle on the back.

Regarding the finish, it's definitely not glossy. It has a nice sheen to it, like a satin finish but I'm not sure what it's really called. It's definitely not matte though.

Two copies here, both with spine slashes. Not even light slashes... they really dug those blades in deep. I'm going on holiday today, so need to come up with a plan to get replacements.

Damn, a lot of people seem to receive a slashed spine. I'm really worried about mine now.

I never had to sent a steelbook back until a few days ago when my Zombie Flesh Eaters had a huge scratch on the front. If I have to send something back already again I'm gonna be pissed.

I'm just getting concerned that the amount of time that Zavvi take to come back to me (they are not renowned for their speed), that they will run out of stock with the amount they will appear to have to replace from some of the complaints on here, including my own!
