Meantime, there are just too many steelbooks on the markets. I start to feel that, compared to amarays, the only additional benefit of those "common steelbooks" is alternative artwork. And I'm not willing to pay double just for alternative artworks...
I want something like Nemo: not only limited in its quantity, but also unique. Like a work of art!

why? Because Aladdin sold out extremely fast, this is a first blu-ray release and a more popular blu-ray, and it's not even sold out yet. Meaning; print-run is most likely massive. At least 10K.

Will probably cancel all my steelbook orders anyway because of Iron Man 3. I thought the artwork would be exclusive, but it's cheap and easily made. And expensive.

Well said! I couldn't agree more with you. I'd rather see a fraction of the steelbooks being released if it meant we got better quality and more unique releases..like back in the good old days of UK 'Thor', Captain America', 'The Green Hornet'....too many rubbish steelbooks being released nowadays.

Lol. I cant believe some people would cancel just because other collectors have a chance to get the steel before it inevitably sells out. Its only been 3 days. It might take a week or a month but it will sell out.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there.
Hence some get annoyed when all the true collectors are actually managing to secure a copy rather than having to pay above the odds just because they can't be glued to the internet 24/7!
I know it's nice to know you have something that is more limited but it's worse to not have it at all!

Back on topic; sooo happy that more Disney steels are seeing the light of day.
Hope this is a sign of things to come (*cough* pixar).

Yeah. I only speak for myself but zavii releasing these is phenomenal. They other Disneys I wasn't able to get cause they're so expensive. But these are the best ones anyway (in my opinion)

ive ordered 1 each for the grandkids to open and enyoy the feel of the steelbook to encourage them as they grow older to lovr the hobbie as their poppy does..."OH yes" and a copy of each for my new/sealed private collection..My little angels are a look but dont touch on those ones..

what i'd like to see on the back of the steelbook (with the darker green made to match the colours on the spine)

for me the back cover really should have the two of them dancing form behind like in the picture...plus would lend it's self to debossing/embossing. & it would be similar to aladdin, a good thing imo.
