Kept my single order of both Jungle Book and Little Mermaid...still debating whether to cancel. But wiped out a good portion of my pre orders probably close to $400+ worth. My love for steelbooks is slowly deteriorating...

I hear that! I'm getting back into collector's editions more & more...

I'm going to have to seriously curtail my purchasing of Blu-rays in general, let alone Steelbooks as my son will start attending school next year, and in my country, quality education costs an arm and a leg, and then some!

I got a relpy regarding the other artwork :)

Hi Matt,
Thanks for taking the time to contact zavvi.com regarding our Steelbooks.
I will be more than happy to pass you requests over to the relevant departments.
Keep a look out for photos on the website shortly.
If you have further questions then please feel free to contact me.
Many thanks,
Jordan

Better than nothing :ohno: Good of them to reply so quick to be honest anything that zavvi can do to win me over is good in my opinion

I third the motion. Stores raising prices, studios releasing and rereleasing films, then releasing multiple versions of steelbooks now. They're onto us in a big way, sucking the life out of the steelbook, now its just getting tiresome, and boring, and expensive.

Alternatively, take to Twitter or Facebook to express your feelings. Zavvi supposedly appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. If you disagree with the way they're doing things, then let them know - They'll pass on the comments to the managers higher up

Obviously you're not alone in feeling that Zavvi are taking advantage out of consumers like us, and many people have made their feelings known via social networks. The more of their customers who complain about the price / frequency of these SteelBook releases, the more Zavvi will start to take notice!
