What a joke of a company,i feel bad for the folks who shelled out £23 for this.

They really must think if they don't sell all the copies of a certain steelbook they can just offer it less than half price with the next months selection of steelbooks.

There killing the game with there silly preorder prices & even more ridiculous price cuts.

Agree. As someone who did shell out £23 for JB i've now cancelled toy story. Ill just keep my german one. The markets flooded so much lately that im just going to risk missing out on things if companies are going to end up doing this 8 weeks after release

I have just ordered to take advantage of this offer. I was going to order Toy Story anyway and my original Jungle Book came with a spine slash so I am hoping that this second JB arrives in mint condition. If it doesn't then I will be writing to Zavvi for the first time. Apart from my JB and a Roger Rabbit all of my Zavvi Steelbooks have arrived mint so far.

It seems like that's the risk we take these days, you buy it,it doesn't sell out & a month later it's less than half price,or you don't buy it,it actually sells out & then your getting robbed on ebay.its all risk with little reward really, that's why i just buy the films i like nowadays so i get less pissed over stunts like this.

£9.99 is a much more reasonable price, and I'm now willing to get this now it's dropped in price.
Zavvi are not really adding much incentive for people to preorder when they slash their prices so drastically so soon after release.

I'm always happy for the "next guy" .... so long as a steelbook isnt getting a direct reprint then I dont mind.

Yes I paid more for my copy as well, but its not like my copy is going to raise in value while there is still X in stock .... the quicker the stock goes away the quicker the steel's value increases.

And it must be value we're talking about here .... cause if it was simply just the fact that I paid twice more 2 months ago then I should be mad at Amazon for dropping box set prices 2 months later .... and typically so long as a company does so after 30 day window then you cant get any funds back anyways. (this practice may only be typical in USA tho)

to each their own tho....

and no they wont charge for Toy Story as they haven't ever on me when ordering in stock items and pre-order.

So if they are selling jb for £9.99 when bought with toystory, do you reckon they are clearing stock out, they paid not much for JB or have too much excess stock>

This is beyond a joke now. This time I am seriously going to cancel all of my pre-orders except for Pain & Gain. Yes one or two may go OOS but any added cost will be more than covered by the savings made on everything else.
