Eriz-the problem is that when the orders come through they are "picked" at random in the distribution facility. So even if you order early, you may still receive a plastic case, because they do not separate the Steelbooks from the Amaray cases, when the orders are picked for shipping. Many people have written to Amazon.fr to ask if they would consider separate listings and an improved process for picking the orders, but it doesn't look like the adjustment has been made to date.
Wreck, I read "The Rite" (received free copy to review), and if the film is based on that book, it is crazy!
this is an example of a nice steelbook and a horrible movie, i rented it and o.m.g. its the most stupid and boring movie of the year, then again the 2 websites from France dont say anything about steel cases, in my experience with amazon fr i would never order from them based on just the picture. be awere
I heard it was awful as well, though I've not yet seen it to judge for myself. Do we yet know whether the Red case actually was released in France, somewhere? Mams, Bidou?

I watched this last night and thought it could have been better, but by no means was it really bad. It's a different take on exorcism flicks, so I liked it for that reason. It's a little slow to get going, but it builds. It received pretty decent critic reviews on rottentomatoes.com. Hopefully amazon.fr sends me a steelbook

I also have about 30 copies coming in hopes that they are even Steelbook , you know how the french like to tease us with steelbooks

I remember somone saying that all French Steels would be G1 from now on, so as much as I like the red cover, I wont buy a G1.

That is Warner Brothers that you're talking about. This should be G2. The only thing you have to worry about with ordering this from amazon, is if you actually get a steelbook.
Havent heard that , but it is a possiblibly since FNAC likes to release G1 Steelbooks...
