Looks very nice with good colour match across the covers.
Would have made my day to see embossed Cruise and charging horse to give a 3D look/feel to the steel instead of a pointless de-bossing of the title.

How does it stack up against what we have already (no real preference . . . with all three pretty much of a muchness, imo)?

Don't worry guys, there'll be another cash grab blu-ray steelbook within the next 2 years, followed by a 25th anniversary 4K release in 2028. It is WB, after all.

However, 90% of the new Steelbooks are poorly designed and poorly manufactured. Embossing/debossing is usually completely absent.
Some high-quality Blu-ray Disc Steelbooks could be released as 4K reissues, which would be much better than these terrible new artworks.

I assume that a zero finish was used here, as the Steelbook was only released in Europe. Zero finish has been in use for 10–15 years and is nothing new.

According to the manufacturer Scanavo, Unforgiven (released in 2015), V for Vendetta (released in 2016) and Hacksaw Ridge (released in 2017) use a zero finish.

What I always find difficult is distinguishing a zero finish from a satin finish.
