One for the bag . . . hoping for good things on my very first Disney animation lenticular . . .
Just taking the word "Expensive" to mean "costing a lot of money" (for a film I already own several times over on Blu-ray) not to mean that it costs more than similar steelbooks which I do of course realise it does not. Maybe I should have added "for me" to avoid any misunderstanding.

What about actually completing the Disney collection before starting to rerelease steels. It's inevitable that Disney is going to release all these steels outside the UK eventually, but it doesn't bother me as much as the fact that Disney NEVER completes a single collection before starting over. The otherwise excellent Walt Disney Treasures is a good example of this strategy (I'm convinced it's a strategy - never keep the collector satisfied - always keep them coming back for another collection that hopefully might be more complete than the last)

You mean the 1995 drop dead amazing CAV laserdisc box set!. Now that's worth having! 8 discs with more extras than is possible on a blu-ray or DVD... If you're a fan you owe it to yourself to have a copy in your collection.

Certainly do. Both US and JPN Lion King boxsets. Plus the JPN Beauty and the Beast Box set which contains the B&N Work in Progress disc in it as well

That I don't have because there was a serious pressing fault with it and most copies had laserdisc rot so there would be very very few working copies if any out there.

That's why you want to buy the Japanese Boxset. The work in progress disc is included, and doesn't have the rot that plagued the US release
