The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Finally Arriving on Blu-ray!

New Line Home Entertainment and Warner Brothers have finally set a date for ‘The Lord of the Rings’ to be released on Blu-ray. As you might know the release was pushed to a later date without any real explanation, but the studio has finally set a date and it seems that April 6th will be the date of release. Hopefully this is the final date change. No word on when the extended versions will be released.

I've never seen the extended editions I am not sure what the rave is about, I'll just be picking these up.

I was at Amazon to check the price versus BestBuy, they are the same 59.99, however i saw a bunh of 1 star reviews. i started to read them, they are all saying the same thing pretty much, looks like they gonna double dip on these too. Well, myself, I will wait for the EXTENDED version. i came so close lol, good thing i looked first

Yeah I saw a bunch of those as well, but the reviews don't reflect anything about the actual product other than their displeasure for not getting the extended editions.
