Received my copy from the GB and I would like to say thank you to Kaka for hosting and helping collectors like myself to be able to obtain a copy:thumbs:

When this was released I was not into it as I didn't like the yellow of the WWA Steel (BTW the WWA steel they used is with the Correct Title as other Asian Releases of that steel and does not have the German alternative name)

And I read this whole thread, almost, and I don't understand people being upset at 300 print run for a Fullslip package with WWA Steel and Bonus Items. FAC, Blufans and Kimchi does it all the time. So for me this release if they were able to secure only 300 Steelbooks and made a low print Run of 300 is FAR than Unusual ! By now this is the last comment/complaining I was expecting to hear. As a collector, I like Low Print Run Releases.

When this came out I loved the movie and didn't care for the Yellow Steel, so I picked up a regular Amaray/Blu-ray SlipCover... but This is SUCH A GREAT MOVIE and when I saw live pictures I fell in Love with what was not appealing to me when it was first released initially. So I went on ebay, I paid ebay prices and it was all worth it. Now very nervous as Usual for the shipping Journey which such an Exclusive Package. I can't wait for it to get here so I can stop worrying. Bought it from a respective ebay seller and for having missed the group buy, the release and print run for me warrants the price I paid.

@wxlinkswd much respect to you and HDzeta for having crafted such a beautifully Stunning Package for this well deserved movie

Simply Beautiful :notworthy:

Hey @Actarus I agree with you that print run does matter and makes this release which is one of my favorites for 2016 that much more special.

We should give Praise where it is due :notworthy: so many of the best Fullslips Packages for 2015 were very limited Print Runs. For HDzeta to decide to do a 300 Print Run for this edition is no surprise. Retailers that do those ''numbered Collectible Packages'' know that we like great packages with quality Bonus items and a low print runs. They are very well aware that it makes their collectibles more wanted. It is attractive for the collector.

This, when I have it in hands, but from the pictures oufff  I am sure it will go as one of the Best Fullslip package for 2016 along many FAC and Kimchi etc...

the colours make me what to eat it... :hungry:

but 300 too low to be fair -

300 is not too low, it is low but as a collectible it is Not Too low. And collecting, this world of collecting isn't always fair, its not meant to be fair. But from what I have watched countless times a Print Run of only 300 ''multiple retailers do this'' on ''multiple releases''. This is the game we Play. And Often it is simply a choice a retailer has to do, if he can only secure 300 copies of the WWA steel and decides to do an ''exclusive package'' out of it.

First it gives us a ''Stunning Package'' if well done which they usually are as they do work hard to give us that ''as they know we are collectors'' going to go after this version.

Secondly they know that this will be exclusive, wanted and will put their company ''on the map'' of retailers making ''Stunning wanted Collectible Packages''. So sometimes retailer simply make Low Print Runs as one of their line which they all, almost all, have a line that they release low print runs between 300 to 500.

Collecting in our little world is not a fair game, it's some sort of hunting game as not to miss those exclusive releases. Its a Win/Win for the retailer as this is what we love and want... well I do as I love Collectibles Items, I mean real collectible items.

I understand what you're saying,,,
But I use 'fair' in the sense, that real aesthetic lovers have a chance to collect and appreciate, not just those with only 'value' in mind.

and as another respectable collector said to me ;

I stopped caring about HDZeta's silver collection a while ago - $80 straight out the gate for a $15 steelbook + a booklet, slip, and loose lenticular is a pretty bad deal. They might as well resort to print runs of 100 or less. Then they can really make them exclusive, hard to get, and you will be super happy. And imagine the secondary market on those - everyone will be trying to get $200-$300 for them then. And then the rich collectors will be able to lord their purchases over the rest of us haha.

Really, though, "stunning" has nothing to do with print run. If a steelbook is stunning and the movie is good, people will buy it. Even if the print run is 2000 or more, believe it or not. You don't have to have a low print run to create a stunning, desirable package.

Nothing worse than rich collectors suffering from grandeur over a premium steelbook purchase.

If your reply was related with anything of what I said, it was not my intention. I do have difficulty expressing myself often. I am faaaaaarrrrrrr from being rich and if I came across like I am better(suffering from grandeur as you say) than I should just erase all my posts as it is far from who I am. My Apologies if I have offended anyone. I guess what I meant was enough said in my first post and I should have just stopped to post right there and then as I probably had made my point back to my first post.

In the interest of 'peace and love' (i want punch Ringo for saying it so much, but it's worth remembering, so i guess he wins)
....That's why I acknowledged your point, and tried to clarify mine - I wasn't trying to start a fight // I'm ready to burn the Net over such misunderstandings -

General Comments to all > yes sir!

Also, I think it's good to remember there are people on here from all over the world -
,, so maybe their translator or English understanding is not always so 'on point' when making one....so I would suggest not jumping to assessment too quickly.

There might be real reasons this release is 300 - it's none of my business directly - it's their choice, it's market as was suggested - we can all vote with our digital wallet-feet :brb:
but in general, there seem to be too many, well off, bulk buying resellers :hungry:
I've seen it for years - like everyone - and I'm a longer forum watcher than a member here, before someone goes all Sherlock.

I just don't think super limited, and double the price of others if much fun - unless, you have the money and score one, then it's all chocolates and dancing isn't it.
Knowing there's a soulless hoarder out there, waiting for things to go out of stock, never opening, never caring, is -- not cool --

Even big name artists these days are printing people's names on tickets, or demanding you turn up with visa cards and photo id to collect your tickets -
Cause they are making an effort to respect their fans...you know...their life-blood.... :sing:

I enjoy the hunt for a title, not just this forum, but music, books, etc - but fighting an industry of secondary market scumbags is not fun, in any area.
And I also like to think something is 'not a mass produced cheap suit' - and has a special vibe to it - and if I do give in and pay a bit of extra tax,
cause I missed an official release, that it worth it, to me.

I'm not a trader. So low run, high profit / resell return, means as much to me as the relevance of this next emoji :panda:
The only thing I've sold on eBay, were a pair of concert tickets, cause I couldn't get there - at cost - and made someone happy.

The group buys on here, via KARL(FAC) so far for me, have been a great way to secure a copy - with reasonable chance of success.

Since this has reached tldr status and will be archived in a dusty forum cabinet under Mulder's ufo poster, :blackalien:
in summary: I just think, if technically possible, 750 - 1,000 units seems to be a good size as a base minimum.

jailbird #out

( peace and love :banghead: )

Can anyone tell me what the unit price was for this or Minions when not part of the GB, as I can't see it listed anywhere? Thanks

Oh My Gosh, I just received This and it is so Stunning !
Having missed this release, I really don't care to have been used on the secondary market - I quite enjoyed it actually :coffee:
