1) Updated Beauty shot of the numbered edition THE MARTIAN, which shows the real limit of copies (1001 copies).

2) New Beauty shot on THE MARTIAN unnumbered edition, which shows the real limit of copies that have been assigned according to given circumstances (396 copies).

3) Start of pre-orders on numbered edition for still collectible numbers: February 18, 2016 from 20:00 CET

4) Start of pre-orders on unnumbered edition for all customers simultaneously: February 18, 2016 from 20:00 CET

5) Free sale of slightly damaged steelbooks will take place simultaneously with the launch of pre-orders on numbered and unnumbered edition.

It all depends what you value as a collector. Sure, you'll get plenty of goodies with numbered edition, but 396 unnumbered copies ain't much and the full slip is certainly more appealing for me.
