I was expecting Trinity on the cover on this too, considering the others went with the heros.
However It also would be hard to miss off the main villain.
Trinity would've definitely made more sense, but Agent Smith is an awesome character, so I'm not complaining. 
Given that this is a French release, will it end up having an upside down spine and being called La Matrice Révolutions?
The mock up is the right way round but there's every chance that's not final. It's hard to tell until it is released.
No one calls it that in France (that's the title in Québec), and it's WB so the spine will be the "correct" way (though I personally tend to think of all other spines as inverted... it's a matter of perspective I guess).
And another country announced some Matrix steels I think, so it's likely to be a share print run, not uncommon wiyh WB, catalogue releases or not.

Would've made more sense to have Morpheus and Trinity together on the second SteelBook and then Agent Smith on the third.
Matrix is one of those ground breaking movies that comes along in a lifetime. 
Have numerous displays and figures, but now will have to get the steels!

Dittio..! None have been so innovation in the premise and the implementing of it using great CG and acrobatics by the actors.
A lot of time between now and June 10th. May the force change your mind completely by then
