Bought it on Dvd last Christmas, that's only the second time I've seen it, first time was in the cinema when it came out.
I'm liking the look of this, so I'll pre-order and decide later, since my December purchases are empty so far, I think.

Wasn't this released in 3D a while back?

If i did not have the Tim Burton FNAC box set, i would pre-order it. Nice looking steelbook.

Typical black/white plus only one other color Zavvi. Nice art design but boring colors. Can Zavvi ever come out with colors like A Bug's Life FS, Resident Evil Retribution or Underworld Awakening?

Sick of too many almost monochrome steelbooks.

It's all about the price, the more colours used I imagine the more expensive it will get to manufacture. A lot of Steelbooks use very few colours when you look at them.

good price for a disney bound to sell out

Agreed the only other steel is the FS which not many own. That being the main reason why nemo struggled as many people stuck with what they had and even nemo sold out eventually. Rightfully so, its one of my favourite steelbooks. This is a good price, a great movie and I'm excited to see it in hand.

I am not sure more colors would work for this film, actually-it seems these color choices make this different enough from USA release, but also provide some nice pop for those that don't own that one yet. Happy with my 1st release, but hopefully for those that are looking to add this, it will be embossed or have some unique color treatment.

Which is what I was driving at. Zavvi's prices are high enough. For same prices or less, Canada could come out with beautiful color prints like Matrix, Requiem for A Dream, Hanna, Wizard of Oz etc, and with wrap-around artwork on borders too. In comparison, Zavvi is predominantly black, white or blue; additional color is usually limited to just a small area of the steelbook.

Well, I guess some like such designs. For me, after looking at one a couple of times, I won't look at it again. In a way it's good, I'm going to avoid them and save my money. :D

In case you haven't noticed, there haven't been many good Steelbooks from Canada recently. You may not like Zavvi but overall they have released the most quality Steelbooks so far this year.

Yes, Zavvi do have some good ones. Commando, Taxi Driver are examples. I like Black Swan too because of the two-tone shimmering reds.

But I look forward to seeing more steelbooks of the earlier Canadian release standards.
