Yep, it'd be cool if we got full complete versions of the different aspect ratios of the film, instead of - or as well as - the aspect ratio changing version that we'll inevitably get. As much as I love seeing more of the picture, aspect ratio switching during the film whilst watching at home grates me a bit. Just a bit. Not a lot
There shouldn't be any aspect ratio changes on either theatrical or home versions of this one as it's his first completely in IMAX. It's going to be a little different this time around.

I for one actually prefer the shifting ratios as it gives those shots the impact boost that usually Nolan gets right. That is not going to happen here, so I'm certainly interested to see how that may improve or detract from the usual Nolan experience.

Cool. So That's why everyone is hyped for the IMAX tickets. Now it makes sense.
I tend to not really follow that much on behind the scenes of movies these days, I must have blindly overlooked that this was entirely shot on IMAX. I'm sure I probably read it about umpteen times on the internet and also on this thread as well. Ive done the reading information and blanking thing due to Nolan being synonymous with shooting in mixed ratios.

Seeing the trailer in the cinema yesterday has now got me really looking forward to this. Hope it delivers
