So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

This is for serious hard core steelbook collectors. If you are reading this, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. WHITE edition, not purple, Super rare! Having this thing in your collection WILL make your friends jealous:) Guaranteed! :hilarious:

Same seller:

Price:AU $1,499.99
Approximately £823.62

The Dark Knight Steelbook White Korea Rare Kimchi Error Sealed BatmanBegins Blu

I spotted it earlier, for the life of me I can't work out what they're on about "...Kimchi error..."? Or are they simply trying to hit a load of searched words?

Never heard of a version with an error. Think this is just a fishing tactic to be honest.

I got curious my self and i sent a message to the seller asking about the "error" and this was the response.

"Theses were issued by kimchi.com( famous Korean site), soon found out the colour were the same as the Japanese version(printing error), they had to changed the colour to purple as most of their steelbooks are of purple colour"

Still I guess I kinda regret not grabbing a TDK off ebay last month for about £50, because people like this and their idiotic prices are the REAL Jokers. :D

Newbie, 3 ratings, just started selling in June and with a ebay name of "vain_us2014"? He'll have to try "in vain" to get that price for a non-mint Best Buy (I'm assuming) steelbook.

I saw this aswell and have been following his auction all week. The majority of the leading bidders are 0 feedback. The prices suddenly shot up, not gradually...something very strange is going on for sure.

This one is quite strange.too

Been watching his "Auction" for a couple of Weeks now-selling this Steel at least 4 Times but never got a Feedback on any of those Sales ;)

And at least three Times the same low Feedback Buyer won the Auction
