That price (for a sealed copy) is not that high actually. I've seen open/mint copies go for about the same or even more....

I bet it ends up 50% higher than where its now. $100 each for mine 6 months ago.

I completely agree. I started collecting a few months ago. Prices on many of these have jumped alot during that time.

I was watching that one too and when it sold for so much I contacted Hectorcurly and went with his copy. I would rather have one with a small dent than none at all.

Now it is time for Star Trek, but after that I am going into hibernation!!!

Yeah I know I'm a bit neurotic like that also, but ultimately I looked at my actual transformer collection and said to myself some of the ones I own are not perfect and I appreciate them just the same, some in fact more than pristine ones. Later on if a good buy comes up I can find a perfect one, or maybe I will grow a bond with my imperfect one.

There is one right now on ebay for 199.95 Buy it Now, it was 299.95 until sometime today, I gave the guy 2 fair offers for it but he refused and did not provide a counter offer so I said let it sit.

Other than Star Trek I have made all the purchases I would like for at least 2 weeks to let my wallet heal itself!!

That T-formers is awesome. I've got steels that have some dings and it doesn't bother me at all. But, I got two of those T-formers now and was actually trying to fibd a sealed/mint one. I did however check his trade thread today and was slightly sad he had sold it.
