So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

Isn't the disc different?

The guy states
This is absolutely the rarest and hardest to find steelbook in the world (maybe together with the Quebec-version of Angels & Demons).

Anybody got a link to Quebec-version of Angels & Demons?

The most expensive slipcover in history

Is this a slip? Though it was a steelbook?

To my knowledge this is the best transfer of T2 aswell the others aren't as good anywhere in the world, so your gettin a steelbook (crap design) as well as the disc for your money.

Does this high price do anything for T2 ver 1.0? Should I be buying this...?

v1.0: steelbook only (+-100$)
v2.0: steelbook WITH slipcover (+300$)
There's also a small difference for the sound, but don't remember exactly what is what...

So basically you're paying for the slip. How stupid are we sometimes heh!

I would have at one time not now

Hattori Hanzo

I heard the SkyNet version is the best one to get for sound and PQ?

Lol Nope! to quote Beatrix Kiddo - "I need Japanese steel" :shots:

any hoo..

Isn't V 1.0 silver?? Thought 2.0 was the black premium ed. and they were both released with slips??

Haven't read up on these for some time now..
..feel free to correct me

SkyNet addition has a DTS Master Audio 6.1. T2 2.0 has Master Audio of 5.1 the same as version 1.0.
1.0 version is silver and does not come with any slip cover. T2 2.0 has the black slip cover with the same silver case as 1.0.
