So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

Auctions tend to go very low now generally speaking. Risky to auction the steel. BIN is the probably the safest way to sell the steel but it means you have to sit and wait a while until the right customer comes. Not great if you need quick cash.

Undisputed most-awe-inspiring ebay listing of the steelbook world, ever. I know of only 1 person who is capable of offering this ;)

Good opportunity for a discerning collector to acquire some gems. Worthwhile unloading 100 Zavvis to get these.

Shill bidding? :dunno:
Lead bidder has zero feedback and 100% bid activity with the seller.

I m impressed with final price. Did not know it was worth so much.

I grabbed one of eBay last week for less than half that! I'm happy as I joined too late to actually get one through here

Lol you're still posting low bid on this thread? You should really start an OMG, the price is too low thread lol. You would get a lot of activity on that thread that's for sure. These low prices are the natural order of things. In a mature collectibles market, there are the 1% grails that's worth a fortune. 10% of desirable items that will actually sell for a profit. And 89% of items that you will be lucky to recoup what you paid for. I've seen this years ago, this is not a surprise. That's why my collection was built the way it was, 80% grails, and highly sought after steels (Disneys) 20% of just movies I like, or steel designs that I like. I was never into the Asian hype, or needed a complete collection of any particular series of steels. There's very little wastage in my collection. If some of you listened to good ole Stevo from the very beginning, you wouldn't have any worries either. BTW, if you see those Disneys decrease in price, please by all means let me know. then I'll start liquidating lol.

Regarding Disney Steels, if you are mentioning the FS / Best Buy Exclusives of course they will be rare and priced high. I would love to see how the current wave of Steels fair on a long term.

Of course I mean the FS Disneys (not to be confused with them U.S empty cases either). When it comes to Disneys, either you go FS, or go home.

There were never any empty disney steelbooks. Just the Viva's.. sorry if i'm mistaken. The steebooks, (monsters, wall e, etc..) are exactly the same in US and Canada.
