Don't know why everyone is saying it's sold out? I just clicked the link on top and ordered an autographed copy. Never seen the movie before but it's an AWSOME looking steel that's SIGNED and extremely limited...NO BRAINER PURCHASE, lol. $9 for shipping within the US is kind of pricey though..I hope it's sent priority for that price

The ones you buy in the store are not autographed and are limited to 1000. The signed ones are limited to 100 and were available on eBay for a limited time before they were sold out.

You're absolutely right! Both the plain vanilla steel and the signed steel are available. Thanks dude. Just ordered ordinary steel. Short on cash and can't afford to be stung by customs for the more expensive signed steel.

really conflicted on this.... i want to order but it looks a bit too "home made" 4 me

i like the enthusiasm these guys have and it does look like a decent film, but its a shame they cldnt get the extra funding to film this using a proper film camera (going by the trailer i jus saw)

If they were sellin this still on ebay, i'd probly give em the benifit of the doubt.. maybe my fault for not chekin this thread earlier i guess :movie:

Actually it has a very filmatic look, with light grain structure and everything! And the roof scene nearing the end of the film is, in my opinion, one of the greatest shot sequences in the HISTORY OF HORROR FILMS! :movie:

Well, the eBay item page (http://www.ebay.com/itm/261354800898) displays "0 available / 100 sold". It would seem that they made another "Limited 100 Autographed TOK Steelbook" run

I purchased a copy 23th of Dec and it arrived the 2nd of Jan, a bit different from "All orders ship the first week of February" description in their web store.

Still happy with my purchase, though, got it for $30 from eBay.

Somehow I find this situation very amusing. As a collector I should be upset that my "one of a hundred" is now a bit less than that, but I can't help it, the TOK crew seem to be very good at building up the hype and then taking advantage of that to the max. But I do think that they should remove the "Limited 100" description

After seeing my bro's copy I had to bite on this when it came back in stock. $50 shipped to Canada sounds a tad pricey but they were going for a lot more than that on ebay before they came back in stock so I can't complain. Did they up the print run of the autographed copies? Or are these leftovers from cancelled/returned orders?

probably just signed more. I don't have a problem with it. It's their steel, their movie, they're free to do whatever they want with it.

If you were sitting on 1000 copies and the 100 you signed moved much faster than the other 900, it'd be dumb not to sign more.

I suppose that makes the most sense, can't blame them for that. I'd be a little pissed if I was one of the people who purchased this from ebay at an inflated cost though.
