I've ordered twice from Kimchi and both times avoided customs. I selected the cheapest shipping and requested that the package be marked as goods with a value of $20. I don't have the most experience but it's so far so good for me.

That sucks ass!!! I can see the %, but to have that stupid handling fee on top of it is just wrong. Hopefully the money is well spent.

What about 60% over declared value (theoretically, in fact it's over any arbitrary value the customs people say) and shipping costs ?
Oh, and an additional 18% over this tax depending on which state you live. :ohno:

That's Brazil.

Finally arrived and it's absolutely gorgeous!

After receiving this, Leon and The Wrestler in the space of a week, I can really appreciate the true quality that can go into a steelbook package with a bit more effort. Good for my collection, but i'm afraid that it isn't going to look so good leaving my bank account (especially not with an extra hit at customs ).

...but then then again you do have the World Cup this year and the incredible copacabana beach, so I'd settle for that!

My first two orders with Kimchi I was hit both times by customs. Since then I have marked every order 'merchandise' $15.00 & not been hit with customs all with K-Packet shipping 6 days to uk & longest 10 days due to a bank holiday just received American psycho lenticular Digipack.

I must just have gotten lucky 4/4 I wish that Lenti would sell out I have the Full Slip but its awfully getting tough not to order, I'm shocked there are still copies of both, I know this isn't Frozen but this is an excellent movie and the Full Slip is loaded

Does the kimchi steelbook have Korean writing on it? If so is it all versions or only some?

I've seen some pictures showing with and some without Korean text on the front so I really don't know what to expect...

Do you mean the slipcover or the Steelbook? The text on the Steelbook is all in English.
