Need some help here guy's just had to get this version after my play.com version was badly damaged. And well after unsealing it it's got two stickers that one has left it sticky in one corner and the other is not coming off (well the top is but not the rest) any idea how to remove without damaging the steelbook.

Washing up liquid on a slightly damp cloth?

Nail varnish remover is the usual suspect for removing stickys.

Cheers guys have used both and have managed to get them off but it had left some sticky residue (from the stickers) still which won't go using both methods.

Hi mate,

You can buy something called DEsolve it max strength degreaser. It's £4.50 at homebase. The best stain remover I have ever used. Tried it on my cloud atlas steelbook with the bad sticky glue and only needed a dab of it and it took the gunk right off!

It's great stuff.

It's really simple use peanut butter. Did the exact same thing with the Raid steelbook.
(Also helps remove gum from hair - moms tips)

I used isopropyl alcohol to get it off with a lint free cloth. I just want to state that you should not use any products on gloss steelbooks. Or use with caution :\

I use 'sticky stuff remover' that's what it's actually called. I've used it on various finishes of steelbook and it always gets the residue off without damage.
