If you're going to complain about not having enough work to do, don't call me out in a meeting and accuse me of not pulling my weight.
Co-worker totally just did that to me in a meeting. I dropped my jaw and said, "Excuse me? You complain you don't have enough to do all the time." and he goes, "Right, I honestly think we could be doing more."
Great, why aren't you creating job aids, hosting more meetings, getting in more one on one time yourself? You just left early the other day because you said there wasn't anything for you to do. And then you come in here and say I'm not pulling my weight? What weight? Where have I adversely impacted your workload you say you don't have enough of? It's fine if you want to be pissed about something but don't go tossing me out in front of everyone just because you're upset about not having enough work to do.
The guy is older and getting ready to retire, thank goodness, so I didn't say anything other than the quote up there but I wish I'd of gone into that tirade above, but looking back and knowing who was in that room I probably made a good decision to bite my lip.
F*cker.
