i received mine today
with a painchip on the back

Got mine and there is a 2" long scratch under the plastic, on the left front side edge, about half way down...this is a first for me, luckily every Zavvi steelbook I've got has been perfect...then again, some aren't opened so maybe there are hidden faults I've yet to find.

If it's an issue contact Zavvi. I had a steel (Batman & Robin) come in slightly bent, pinched on the front and back and because of the bend, the spine was raised and bent in 2 different places.

They offered for me to return it for another or a partial refund. Being international and the hassle, and the fact that it was Batman & Robin and not a really nice steel, I took the partial refund.

Nope, it's garbage quality because of the hazy low-res artwork, the pointless silver 'frame-around-the-frame', and the extremely poor quality embossing of the title.

Mind you, 'Starship Troopers' makes it look like the best steelbook ever

I like the look of this in hand, but the copy I received has a dent on the spine/back that you can see, feel and hear as the steel is a little popped up on the back

The pictures of this (including mine) just DO NOT do it justice! I just got mine today and after looking at pics for a week now - seeing this "in-hand" is just amazing. The paint is BEAuTIFUL! Anyone sitting on the sidelines on this is missing out. It's hard to explain but the blue on the back is incredible. I was super excited about this one and it delivers.
