I've gotten a refund for my direct orders about 2 years ago, but still have "open" Group Buy copies from HDN open ad due. Anybody want to do something about this or is it too late (or not late enough ) anyway? @Wreck @carllenc

iirc the other gb host involved said quite recently that theyre constantly trying to inquire about the status but are pretty much left in the dark as well

my guess would be that the whole affair with disney revolving around the predator editions and the various reprints required left them without funds to continue.. which would also explain their attempts to scalp their own editions for some money

Like others said, not the GB hosts fault as they're been frozen out and not given any information as to what is going to happen.

Very frustrating for all involved that FAC can get away with all of this.....

I just can’t wrap my head about this whole situation Since the Launch of FAC 01 they have been thriving and with my personal experience with them in 2015 they were very receptive of my feedback as their shrink wrap were too thin and there were similar scratches during manufacturing on the early editions. It took a few editions until the shrink wrap were as how they have been so far. It’s took a few back and forth but communication was great.

Now we experienced several years until things started going south with some movie company but they still were so many opportunities still available to them. Now Covid happened and it all went to sh**

I just don’t get why they didn’t get back up and continue even if it would be at a slower pace. Now what all those who worked on these editions disappear???

I should have moved to Prague and run this darn company

I am very sorry about the current situation regarding the release of all editions, which are fully paid for and now we are all just waiting for implementation.
The latest information was on January 8, 2025:
We don't forget about the editions whose release was announced. The pace of release will be slower, but we want to complete all editions. Next in line for you, we are preparing the FAC 174 THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION edition, which should be followed by the FAC 172 and FAC 173 editions. If we manage to finalize the agreement regarding the discs, we will release these editions with discs. We want to inform you about the next dates later, so we will always include 3 editions in a row in our specific plans and after their releases we will prepare a timetable for the next three editions.
Unfortunately, we do not have any new information during 2025. Specifically, this edition was paid for on March 15, 2023!
Like all collectors, I am still waiting for any new information. Thank you all for the patience we have as collectors.
The last edition I picked up in May 2024 was Godzilla vs Kong.
A lot of collectors have had older editions with me for more than 2-3 years and are waiting to send them until the planned ones come out. I want to ask if anyone wants to send them earlier to contact me.
And to the question why are some GBs still open? The reason is that I have paid for the editions and I always had to take a certain amount, so when they are released I will be happy if any collectors are still interested in them.

They never refunded to card before – only store credit, so I don't know why I hoped it'd be different now, when they've become scalpers of their own leftovers, glued together with sticky drool of the last zombie they have at the warehouse, packing orders of in-stock stuff...

I've asked to add something else to that shipment now, to use up my credit. They probably wont do that either, and just completely ignore my email again. Joy.

FilmArena is done. Their path ended in total disaster. At this point, they’re nothing more than a bunch of scammers flipping their own releases at prices higher than eBay. They can’t compete with anyone anymore—it’s just a complete collapse from here on out.

Okay, I take that last bit back. They did add the other requested item to the order using up my useless refund credit. They also changed my shipping address, and shipped it - thank god!

They didn't charge me the residual 165czk for it either, or for the shipping uplift - though both have been inflated massively since my original order, so it's probably a net zero for them.

I ordered Shawshank together with Tenet and was charged 4000czk about three years ago. Now they cancelled Shawshank and want another 1900czk just for Tenet. These kids are just ridiculous.
