Yes, I'd have preferred the CD-sized digipacks too, there's more art on them, plus more space in the box for something else...

As long as that "something else" wasn't those pointless acrylic blocks that destroy the packaging.

Well tbh I think the steels need it otherwise the framing of the artwork don’t really work. Works better with the steelbook than the box art too which is annoying. Plus it puts a title on the front of the steelbook

For £50 they really need to include both PETs. Will have to cancel the collectors editions

Hey! Catching up on a few things.

Just to confirm, our involvement is limited to the artwork. We don’t get involved in the boxes, manufacturing or the other technical details. Outside of producing the artwork, we are just a retailer.

We know there have been a few frustrations with the release overall, and we do share those and are trying our best to influence that.

From our perspective, we really just want to create cool artwork for films we love!

If you picked up a set, we hope you dig it. We are really pleased with how this came out and love all the art we created for each Wave!

These exclusive sets including the poster/ print for this and Poltergeist realy grew on me. The overall package and extra's are great, and now with discount on their website = ordered

At vicepress? All the steel and CE only editions of the shining and poltergeist are sold out. Even the exclusive versions are sold out. It's only the expensive premium editions that are still in stock. Anyone can get a 10% code by signing to their mailing list, but that still makes the premium editons near/over double the price of the retail versions. That's why they're still in stock.

Fair, if you like their premium posters etc, but with 10% (or even 20/25%) it's still a hefty markup over the £30/50 of the retail copies if you chose not to get them initally.
