I would actually have some much respect for Zavvi if they put their hands up on this one admitted its terrible and changing the artwork.

Maybe they were given limited options by the studio for cover choices. That would be the ONLY logical explanation for this travesty :)

What the hell is that artwork....EEK!

That is very disappointing, it could have been great. I thought the Spiderman trilogy release from Canada was bad.....This top it for me. :(

With this and The Princess Bride, I imagine there is someone at Zavvi getting a real kick out of adding terrible artwork beforehand just to rile you all up.

As a matter of fact, I would love if that were my job! :hilarious:

Sorry, not as long as Armageddon Play.com still stalks this earth!

Do you mean the cover where the magnificent space shuttle struggles to lift off against the dramatic backdrop of the disintegrating asteroid?

Or the one where a toy shuttle is glued onto the trunk of a leaning birch caught in a bush fire?

Yes indeed, that cover could've been so much more. What a wasted opportunity...

I also sincerely hope the actual cover of The Sixth Sense will be something else than the mock-up seen so far.

Oh dear, looks like the blurry artwork was actually intentional :(

I'm hoping the fact that Zavvi have removed it from their site means that it won't be final.

Indeed. The higher price point coupled with largely negative feedback for the artwork could really dent their sales. Let's hope they're discussing the potential for alternatives with Disney.
