If you're in an area where it snows, how many storms have you had,how is snow removal going in your area, etc? Don't want to turn it into a political/climate debate. Just Enjoy!

Us?

3 Storms(NJ)

1) 22-24 inches

2) 3 inches

3) 5-8 inches

Not too bad, our snow removal by and large has been ok. We're generally "Jersey tough" about this type of stuff, but obviously there are at least some annoyances attached to snow storms. Feel free to post pics:)

Good or bad-how is it near you?

LOL, that's awesome! I've also changed the icon, as it would be great if folks from other countries would like to chime in, too. I have a friend who posted on another site, and he's in Norway. They had several feet and a whole island near him had to be evacuated-crazy.

We usually only get a one or two storms a year that drop snow on us. Most of the time, it's ice. This year, we've already had two or three drop snow. The one around Thanksgiving was just flurries, the one right before Christmas dropped 4 or 5 inches at our house, and we woke up to 3 or 4 inches yesterday morning.

3 Storms (NJ also)

1) 24 inches

2) 5 inches

3) 7 inches

thats so far, I live in North Eastern New Jersey (Bergen County) and I commute to New York city everyday to work. It gets sloppy, but its managable.

I live an hour north of my employer in Grand Rapids, MI...so here I sit in a motel room in GR since I decided to drive in ahead of the storm (raging outside as I type). I knew there was no way I would make it in at 5:30 in the morning!EEK! Anybody else getting hammered in this storm pummeling most of the country??? :ohno:

blue-I heard the Midwest is supposed to get some crazy storm this week. In my particular area we're looking at dangerous ice storms, but only about 1 inch accumulation, I think. But possibly over a foot in other areas of IL and other areas. Be safe and warm!

Thanks...same to you. That ice is worse than just snow! Ice brings all the trees and power lines down and thats bad news when its cold and folks lose power. Gonna be interesting to see what has happened in the next 24 hours.

Hi Blue-definitely-we already had to chisel our cars out, and the ice wreaks havoc here. The streets are already freezing over-almost wiped out, walking out of my company earlier today-the black ice is killer.
