Well if you think about it, out of the 2000 total print run,1500 is going to the box set.Only an extra 300 for the lenti and 200 for the full slip.300 for individual orders for the lenti won't last at all.Chances are,if you want the lenti or 1/4 slip, you will have to go for the box set order.

I would have bought the boxset if not for the full slip art. So this will be a battle to preorder.

Update:
just got the email:Triple box buyer will get the common(WWA) T1 steelbook emptycase as free gift.
and the release quantity also changed:
Total 2000 copies.
Triple Boxest 500 copies
Lenti 800 copies (No.0001-0500 for boxset)
Full slip 700 copies (No.0001-0500 for boxset)
1/4 slip 500 copies (No.0001-0500 for boxset)
So that's 300 individual lenti
200 individual full slip
0 individual 1/4 slip.

(n) don't think I'll even bother attempting to pick-up a lenti now if there are only going to be 300 available, pre-order day would be crazy.

I hope the qty allocation can be alter a bit..I think the last few exclusives for 1/4 slips aren't good sellers so they have decided to mix it with boxset..

A dumb question and probably has been asked but since the new qty been annouced, is there still going to be a GB for this?

I wish this 'boxset' trend would go away to be honest. If people want to buy all three versions, that is absolutely fine but retailers shouldn't force it upon everyone else by reducing the individual quantities to silly amounts.

Nobody is forcing you to buy anything. This is nothing like zavvi. Zavvi is making you buy a bunch of **** in order to get a steelbook.

You can always buy the boxset and sell the ones inside you don't want. With zavvi you cant sell the zbox as nobody wants it. Cant even give it away.

Only partly agree. I still shouldn't have to buy all 3 variants if I want only 1 of them. Doesn't matter if the other 2 can be sold later.

I don't see what Zavvi has to do with this but for reference I dislike the ZBOX trend just as much. It is a similar scenario though, collectors will have to buy the boxset to obtain the 1/4 slip edition or to obtain one of the other editions if the paltry individual quantities sell out quickly. It is still buying something in addition to what is really wanted, whether it is junk or a quality product is of little consequence. I don't think your proposed solution is a good one, why should a collector go to such lengths and deal with the potential issues that arise because a retailer has made a poor judgement? HDzeta is supposed to be a premium retailer so it arguably makes it more disappointing to see them resort to such practices.

If you don't like it don't buy it. I will buy the boxset. It will sell out. I don't always like the boxset being the only option, but its their decision and their business on the line. I am sure they will do just fine.

So is this a 2k print run, or a 4k print run where HD Zeta are deliberately destroying half to increase demand?
