Has anyone actually played the disc yet ? Forced subs or not ?

Very unlikely. The disc has UK, Dutch and Australian rating logo's on it. So it's most likely the same disc as sold in the UK, Netherlands and Australia

I ordered mine on 16 feb, when i searched it on amazon.fr i typed "The Thing Steelbook" and i choose the first one displayed. It wasn't specify steelbook either, i will let you know what i will receive.

I watched it two night ago. No forced subs. Movie was pretty darn good too. Loved it!!!

This is the real deal folks. This one is CLEAN looking.

If you're referring to the pale blue octagonal logos they are actually Irish Film Classification Office ratings not Australian. More details here. Strange it doesn't have French or German logos though.

Do the French have Certification logos ?? (Sorry if wandered OT. )

At first I wasn't going to get this because of no inside art and opt for the German release but after all the hype surrounding this I may have second thoughts plus Chips' pics do have a tendency to sway your decisions in favor of it.

Actually, I was referring to the red square beneath the Fact logo. I blieve that's the Australian one.

Thinking of getting this, but scared to order and get the Amaray

I don't think that anyone that ordered this SteelBook has received an Amaray.

This may change if the SteelBook sells out. So you need to stop thinking about it, and order a.s.a.p. or you may receive an Amaray.

You could always send it back and get a refund if the worst happens.

This SteelBook is going to be a classic, so its worth a punt IMO.
