Yes it is sold out. I ordered 133 as fast as I could (to scalp people who ask the same questions every time :p ).
You can buy one from me for 65 gbp :).
That's of course without shipping, packaging, fuel cost, clicking on 'pre-order' on Zavvi, proceeding to check-out, paying via PayPal and receiving it from the mailman.

It will cost you 121 gbp + PayPal fees in total.

Bargain!

That's a no brainer! PM incoming.....

Been after the FS for a while but wouldnt pay silly money for it. This will do quite well as I will just swap out the discs. Im happy. Keep it coming Zavvi

I prefer much more artworks, especially front from FS version (or coming re-releases) which I already have. Also have the UCE box which have identical front and back artworks like this UK steelbook release will be have.
So I really don't need any new releases of this movie, but will preordered this and I will be watch what will happen in nearest future, how many new announcements we shall see from zavvi yet. But if we get in this time another great movie first time in steelbook release, then I will cancel this Town in favor of another. For now I will preorder this only because this will have glossy and embossed finish.

I wish they would just stop releasing EVERYTHING in June. I'm already down for 9 steels, plus I want a few more of what's coming. It doesn't help that most of them cost 50% more than Play were charging.

I don't mind them releasing so many, or even the prices, I just wish they could spread these releases out a bit more.

Price is higher than Play due to 99p postage.

Yes days of £9.99/£10.99 Steelbooks are over. Instead we have to subsidise International purchases. No offence to our non-UK members, but i'm sure you can understand our annoyance when BestBuy/FutureShop/Target don't ship to the UK and yet Zavvi ship Internationally for a price which is not realistic or sustainable. Of course many will counter that other countries don't get as many Steelbooks, but then again they could always move to the UK. That's what a 'true' collector would do after all :p

Play shipped to europe free, too. Never paid a cent for shipping to germany. One of the reasons both of them ship/shipped postage free is that they ship steelbooks from the Channel Islands and pay almost no taxes there. They have deals with the post and can ship these movies for almost nothing (they ship with no postage insurance/tracking no.). I don't think the prices are higher than play's because of international shipping. Zavvi just knows that they will sell their steelbooks regardless of which price they offer them. If they cost 10,99, 14,99 or 15,99.... Most steelbook collectors don't care and are willing to pay;)

I can ship a steelbook for 3,45€ worldwide as a private person. (Makes absolutely no difference if I ship to europe or worldwide) What do you think zavvi as a huge company pays for postage then?

You logic is too generic. Pricing exclusive titles higher than play and 1p less than LVCR limit proves that we indirectly contribute towards subsidizing the cost. As simple as that. What collectors are willing to pay is a different topic. I am sure you can argue that they do price some of the titles at 9.99 but they are the leftovers bought off Play.

Another sign that zavvi doesn't care much about shipping costs is that they ship every steelbook individually. With play I didn't pay shipping costs but I had to pay customs several times because they combined the steelbooks even if I ordered them individually...
I just mentioned that it isn't much more expensive to ship steelbooks nationally or internationally. I also don't think zavvi wouldn't offer the steelbooks cheaper even if they would offer only national shipment.

But we get to much off topic here. Maybe uk members have to pay 99p more because of international shipping maybe not. I'm glad that play and zavvi both ship/shipped free to germany and looking forward to this steelbook.

Not that it matters to anymore than 2 or 3 members here, but I pay £10.99 postage to Zavvi for shipping to India. Shipping from US/Canada is just as expensive to me. So is shipping from Singapore/HK/Korea and TW. Japan is probably more than most.

I don't think too much about it though, it's an expensive hobby and that's the price one has to pay for it. As long as I like something that's available, I'll pay for it while its reasonable I guess.
