Thing is though, Wreck. UK steelbooks seem to be selling like hot cakes at the minute so I think better advice would be to pre-order a copy even if you are 'on the fence' as you just don't know how long it's going to be around.

When Play was dropping them like crazy last year I prioritized by which I thought would sell out first ... the other titles I wanted I just bought when there was in-between times etc. In fact I just got like 10 Play titles that went to Zavvi ... but didnt miss out on Terminator, Iron Mans, Old boy, BR etc.

You can usually tell by the popularity of a thread which are going to be the fast sellers... Just plan it smart folks! I have not paid above cost for any Play title and I got practically all of them from last year. Many I waited months to get ...

For instance, this one being a popular movie and new art I think people will get this quickly so this would be a wise one to pre-order.

True ... and I keep forgetting you dont get charged till shipped ... so just pre-order everything you like and cancel ones if need be around ship time if you need to better adjust.

I bought the regular amaray in HMV's 5 for £30 a while back after hearing lots of good reviews and wasnt disappointed, its a great film so I could be tempted to double dip on this

The UK version I have includes the theatrical and director cuts .....is the 'alternate' cut different again?

Thats what I do, learning from past experience I preorder lots of things...I dont always buy them, but its best to have a copy preordered and cancel at a later time than debate it and miss out, and then decide you wanted it afterall

....that said, its amazing how much more attractive something is once its sold out!
