So looking at Zavvis page this will only include the alternate cut. The US CE has all three versions of the movie so think I'm gonna go for that instead of this steelie.

The movie has 3 different versions. It has not been verified on this steelbook.

Soooooooooooooooooooooo according to Zavvi's page this will only have the alternate cut and extended cut, and loses the theatrical cut.

I want to know if this is going to be a 2 disc release as the US CE has the theatrical and extended on one disc with the alternate cut on the second disc. If this is going to have the alternate cut and extended cut, then they have either pressed new discs (highly doubt it), it's a 2 disc release to mirror the US CE (I doubt it), or it's an error on Zavvi's page and will be just a one disc release with the alternate cut with no extended or theatrical versions included (this is what I think we'll get)

I'm thinking the same thing, but it looks like Zavvi have changed the title of the product listing, so it now mentions 'alternate cut'. I really hope that it contains all three, what is the point in an alternative if you don't get the original too?

The original Blu-ray release of The Town had two separate cuts (theatrical + extended) crammed onto a single disc without seamless branching (Lazy Warner ).

Extended Cut with Alternate Ending should be on separate BD-50 with the other BD featuring the cuts from the original release.

This release unfortunately appears to be a single disc featuring the extended cut with alternative ending. Why Studios keep shortchanging Steelbook collectors is beyond me.

Can mods please sticky my comments after proper editing so that the question isn't asked again?

But this is what I don't understand.... surely Warner won't go through all of the trouble to press new discs so it ends up being a one disc release with the alternate and extended cuts on just the one disc. Like I posted above, the US CE has the theatrical and extended on one disc (like the UK) and then the alternate cut on the second disc...... I can see it literally just being the second disc from the UE set and just containing the alternate cut

You know what...The more I look at the artwork, the more it looks like an amateur photoshop job with the fuzzy glow around Afflecks body lol. Hopefully the glossy and embossment can save it for me.
