Anyone else disappointed with this one? I got mine last week. Don't get me wrong it is decent and has some nice embossing going on, but it just doesn't wow me like I thought it would. I dunno maybe a matte finish might have been nicer than the gloss. To top it off Ben Afflecks big mug is really distracting :D

Please tell me you are joking? This and Argo are the best thing Warner have done in the UK for a long time, I hope they continue to release quality Steelbooks and don't go back to the cheap crap they were releasing earlier this year and last year.

:hilarious: I know, I know. It is a step up for Warner, but I'm just not feeling the gloss on this one, hell even me and my wife agreed the embossing is lovely but border and colouring is too much.
Paramount etc. nail this perfectly but while it is a nice steel I just thought it would possibly work with a matte finish instead. I could be entirely wrong and maybe it is indeed the border distracting me. Anyway I'll take it over my amaray anyday!

I do love me a matte finish though, I don't see it as cheap at all.

It's got to be said, those flimsy glossy j-cards are frustrating as hell.

I prefer the flimsy glossy j cards to the full cardboard variety. I can fold the glossy ones and stick em in the steelbook very easily. The full size cardboard jcards have nowhere to go unless you cut them up.

However, my favorite are the half slips that just wrap around like a band.

Willow and Wolverine had those and they work very well.

I'm nowhere near that organised mate. :hilarious:
Mine are all hidden behind the rows of steelbooks. Out of sight out of mind and all that.

Is it typical for UK BR discs to have label on them that says "For Rental or Resale" for non-rental purchases? See the picture below for the disc on the right.

Got to grab this at £10.99. Wasn't a priority when it was released at £14.99 due to the number of steelbooks coming out but great film to have in the collection.
