Just finished watching it, thoroughly enjoyed it..and I can't believe I got it for £6.99( absolute bargain ), zavvi did a great job on this SB.
I would definitely recommend this movie

Lol, I don't remember the original ending I watched this a while ago and I don't remember what happened the first time around but what I just watched- I was quite shocked, wasn't expecting it at all

Have to say I agree with you, I rented argo and couldn't even finish the film I usually like that type of movie so I was surprised I found it so boring, think it got good reviews tho? The SB lookes good but I couldn't get through the film once so it would be money wasted if I'd bitten

Just watched this cut of the film myself maybe a week ago. I remember the theatrical being a decent film but i thought the ending was terrible, but the alternate cut was much better! I thought the narrative at the end was a little thin, but it completely changed the movie and made it a million times better

It really does make it a different film, i actually thought it was quite good
Plus the steelbook is fantastic, probably the best WB steel out there imo

No I don't believe it does. It states "Includes extended cut with alternative ending" but I think the standard UK amaray features both cuts.

This is pretty sad, if all these exclusives that people bought on the fact they were exclusives and while they have been sold out people have paid lots to get them for a number of them to just turn up suddenly, very strange :/

This is why I'm very very rarely paying full price for any Zavvi release I even canceled my GOTG nothing is as exclusive as they make it out to be and between the shipping damage and huge price drops your almost always better off waiting and if you do miss one just trade or eBay it later you will save a lot of cash. I only buy the 10 euro or less SBs. So many better ways to spend your SB cash. I think Indiana Jones Trilogy and Maleficent are the only releases other than and a few Disney Steels that I'm glad I picked up at full price in the last 6 months.

Zavvi were selling this for much cheaper than Entertainment Store before it sold out.

@Jace88 fyi- this is the studio's call. It's not uncommon to see 'timed' exclusives with a variety of retailers.
