We***8217;re certainly planning to continue doing all future seasons of The Walking Dead in steelbook with matching artwork ***8211; it looks likely season 4 will be out in September 2014 as it follows the same pattern as Game of Thrones (i.e. the new season hits DVD and Blu-Ray just before the new season starts).

We***8217;ve been told that the steelbooks will feature in the US Walking Dead magazine, so likely to be quite a bit of international interest for these.

The Entertainment Store is pleased to announce our latest exclusive steelbook releases: Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of The Walking Dead, AMC***8217;s Emmy Award winning TV series.

Each season features world exclusive artwork by Mark Simpson AKA Jock, who is responsible for some of best regarded comics and art of this generation, having worked on 2000AD, The Losers and Hellblazer amongst others as well as producing artwork for many major film studios, including the artwork for HDN Steelbook of the Year 2012 winner The Raid.

Hmm i'm worried about it arriving with dents. The packaging is decent.. at least it has a cardboard box. Thanks for the pics. Are they pretty reasonable in terms of compensating members for damaged items?

When I tried to order the 3 walking dead steelbooks through ebay, I got the error message:

One or more of the items below can't be purchased because the seller has not specified postage costs to the location selected.

Change your address or remove the items to continue.
You may also contact the seller for an exception.

Anybody else is also experiencing the same issue? I have contacted the ES store via ebay and waiting for their answer.

The price is pretty steep, but the real killer is a jumbo

Shouldve knocked the extras disc on the head in favour of a regular steelbook case.

Season 1 : 6 episodes (2 discs). No jumbo.
Season 2 : 13 episodes (3 discs). No jumbo.
Season 3 : 16 episodes (5 discs - including a bonus disc). It had to be a jumbo.

And season 4 is having 16 episodes as well, and ES will do a steelbook of that one too next September. Unless all the bonuses are crammed onto the four discs (and Entertainment One, the Blu-ray/DVD editor, doesn't care about Entertainment Store's steelbooks), then there's a 99% chance it will be a jumbo as well, so season 3 won't be the odd one. Personally I don't mind that much, and the art with Michonne is my favorite of the three .

Having just been blown away by episode 4.08, I'm tempted to order all three seasons on ES's store (even though I'm not a huge fan of the show in general, it's definitely alright though, but man, this mid-season finale... !).

It would have been cramped but I bet they could have gotten 5 discs in a standard G2. Two Disc stacked on each half and the fifth on a center flipper.
