We***8217;re certainly planning to continue doing all future seasons of The Walking Dead in steelbook with matching artwork ***8211; it looks likely season 4 will be out in September 2014 as it follows the same pattern as Game of Thrones (i.e. the new season hits DVD and Blu-Ray just before the new season starts).

We***8217;ve been told that the steelbooks will feature in the US Walking Dead magazine, so likely to be quite a bit of international interest for these.

The Entertainment Store is pleased to announce our latest exclusive steelbook releases: Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of The Walking Dead, AMC***8217;s Emmy Award winning TV series.

Each season features world exclusive artwork by Mark Simpson AKA Jock, who is responsible for some of best regarded comics and art of this generation, having worked on 2000AD, The Losers and Hellblazer amongst others as well as producing artwork for many major film studios, including the artwork for HDN Steelbook of the Year 2012 winner The Raid.

I bet it will be Carl holding a rifle . He's been growing this season, and he's one of the few characters who I picture holding a weapon — and given that Rick, Daryl and Michonne are all holding weapons for seasons 1-3, it's a safe bet it'll be true to the character chosen for season 4 as well.

I wish Scanavo would go back to the drawing board with the Jumbos. I don't see why they can't do a slightly thicker closer to 15 or 22 mm all steel outer shell design that can accommodate more discs. Jumbo 2.0

I received all my WD's this morning. Season 3 is pretty epic!

jumbo or not, this is my favourite of the 3 artwork wise, having said that when I actually get my copy of season 1 in hand I might change my mind lol


As for season 4 art I suppose the Gov deserves a cover, but seen as all the covers so far have been the 'heroes' how about Maggie with the machete and crazy war face lol

Regarding art work for the 4th my pic at the moment would still be the Governor but having seen the mid season finale now I wonder if someone else (like Tyrese) might end up really standing out when the show returns in February....
