What's the mistake on the spine?

Wow that's a bad mistake, it's not like it's something small. They should definatly get that sorted for you.

Wow, asked about a digipack, for Season 5, they said no digipack, saw pictures for the 1-5 boxset and it had two digipacks for 1-5, hopefully Season 5 will have a digipack !!! @eonedirect @navydavey

Hopefully you will have all seen that the UK is getting the Season 5 Special Edition on the 14th of November. This will go live on eBay and Rakuten simultaneously.

In terms of the digipack for Season 5, there is currently no plans on this for the single.

We know there is an issue with the spine on the blu ray, if you message me directly I can look at sending you a replacement.

I really want to support this release as I have the Zombie fish tank and tree walker but there are too many factors working against it:

1) Seems to have no working functions unlike the lights of the fish tank and the moving arm/eyes of the tree walker
2) Have to buy it from Rakuten or ebay - Which one is the least worst
3) Confirmed to be just the ordinary blu ray case thrown in not a digipak
4) £90!!!

Although it pains me to say it, I think I may have to sit this one out

I don't understand their thinking. Digipaks were released previously and now they aren't? And no digibooks, then just one, and no more? Things should stay consistent. Fans like that.

- If you have recieved an incorrect spine please get in contact with me and we can arrange a replacement.
- Rakuten or eBay are great platforms that give us more control over the products we can offer. It is unfortunate they do not have a pre-order function longer than 30 days however. If you have any problems on either of these platforms get in contact with me, I run these personally.
- We did not originally plan to launch a steelbook for season 4, hence why we made a limited edition digibook to try and appeal to the fans.

I don't mind the price , you said this is live November 14th ? is that correct ? here it says November 16th

and i already got in contact via Facebook about the sleeve for Season 5, i was told it would ship this week , but that was 3 days ago

1) I agree the product is not cheaper elsewhere in the uk but that does not mean i am getting good value for money, previous collectors editions were cheaper, had a digibook unique to that edition (just about) and had a function where as this edition is purely ornamental (unless you can tell me otherwise) and only contains the standard amaray release

2) I think it is pretty sad that a product as popular as The Walking Dead would even have such a glaring error as a miss printed spine, I haven't bought the season 5 set so am unaffected but just raising the point that although mistakes happen it is a pretty major error to overlook during the quality checking process

3) I have no direct issue with either Rakuten or eBay but they are both clearly limited in their pre order process when compared to Amazon- the platform chosen for the previous 2 collectors editions, some people clearly have an issue with the chosen venders so why the change? How exactly do they give you more control over this release than any other online company?

4) so now there is a possibility of a steelbook you think that it is fair to stop issuing digibooks to the fans who have supported your previous collectors editions?

Thanks, usually I wouldn't speak out but I love the walking dead and I'm very passionate about this release.

I would love to support this version but feel like we are getting a raw deal here in the UK with an inferior product priced comparatively with the superior US version, Im not out to attack the release I just want a reasonable explanation for the various issues surrounding it

Hopefully answers come soon
