Ahh, the joy. Amazon replacement received, with even more paint chips under the J card.

this has gotta be a manufacturing issue? or bad luck? be interesting to hear if any of you have opened your copies and it really is "mint"

Mine doesn't have any paint chips, but does have a few hairline scratches on the top of it

I could live with that. The first copy even has a chip on the spine (which is a right eye sore)

Yeah, I'm not too bothered by them either, which is why I haven't asked for a replacement. It covered by the J-card, so you can't even see them, unless you take it out and look for them.
I guess you have just had some bad luck.
Do you have both copies, or did you have to return one?
Could you combine the two to make a good/half decent one?

No, cant do, as on same side. Frustrating, as had the first copy not had a scratch on the spine, I would of kept it.

I am a little bit OCD, but im not that bad. However, the areas of damage to both for a £21 steelbook should not be accepted.

They are sending me out a 3rd copy and if this is the same, I need to decide if I scrap the title all together, or accept the lesser of 3 evils

That's really bad luck mate. My copy came in a carboard mailer and I expected the worst as it looked bad from the outside, but fortunately it's in perfect condition. I checked it closely.

Mine came in a jiffy bag through Base.com, the steelbook appears to be mint, the j-card or j-paper is rather creased. That's one of the downsides from ordering from Flubit. What retailer will they choose? Spin the wheel, it's all a guessing game.
